Pipeline Spill in Danube River, Romania.

A crude oil pipeline brok on Thuesday November 1:st, spilling tonnes of oil into the Danube River - Black Sea Channel, Romania.

Mr. Radu Merla, Director of Envirotech S.R.L. and excusive distrubuter of FOILEX in Romania said his clean-up team from Oil Depol Service have recoverd more than 80 tonnes of spilled oil.

Recovery equipment used on site was FOILEX wellknown Mini Skimmer in connection with a portable, diesel driven suction pump and oil absorbents booms.


The Danube is the second longest river in Europe and it takes its source in the Black Forest Mountains of Germany, and empties after 2850 km in the Black Sea on the Romanian coast.
